About Ben Daily
Ben Daily grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado with the love of all things sports. He was a strong competitor with a positive attitude. He was also the eternal coach, coaching young athletes, friends and even family. When Ben wasn’t playing sports himself, he was watching. This deep love for sports created lifelong positive relationships with teammates, coaches, umpires and others in the community.
Ben was also a teacher’s assistant for one of our founders, Whitney Grace. He loved to spend time playing or reading with students. He also volunteered his time to work at the school’s various sporting events, and helped the school’s Athletic Director put together a proposal to establish a golf team.
Ben was a joyful, charismatic and overwhelmingly positive member in the community, who is missed by all.
Sporting Chance Initiative was founded in memory of Ben Daily, combining his love for sports and making the lives of children better.
